El Marchbanks’s poetry has appeared recently at regular open mic nights and less recently in publications such as The Susquehanna Review. Their main inspirations are drawn from growing up in rural Virginia, living through some genuinely laughably horrible events, and the intricacies of relationships. They currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina with their partner, copious amounts of cats, and children.
